Dear Family Member: As you may have heard, Governor Pritzker has announced that the entire State of Illinois will enter Tier 3 mitigations beginning Friday, November 20, 2020.

Letter to Families: 10/30/20

Dear Families, COVID-19 numbers in the State of Illinois are increasing at a dramatic rate. Rest assured that we will remain vigilant in our response to this crisis. We continue to monitor our residents each shift for any signs and symptoms of this virus. All staff members are screened upon their arrival to the facility for any signs and symptoms, including temperature, and are again screened mid-shift. We are also pleased to report that we have adequate amounts of PPE on hand and will continue our efforts to procure these very necessary items.

Dear Resident and Family Member, We have received some updated guidance from the Illinois Department of Public Health related to outdoor visitation and we have updated our plan accordingly.

Letter to Families: Chicago Travel Order, Restrictions

As you know, there are currently many “hotspots” throughout the country that have shown a dramatic rise is cases of COVID-19. In order to keep our residents and employees safe, we have adopted the City of Chicago Emergency Travel Order and will be requiring any employees who may travel to any of these areas to quarantine for 14 days.

I am pleased to announce that on July 7, 2020 Oak Brook Care will be reinstituting limited group dining as allowed by the Illinois Department of Public Health’s guidance.
