We are writing to give you an update on Oak Brook Care’s efforts regarding the COVID-19 battle.
At this time, we have no known positive cases in the building. We are closely monitoring all of our residents and patients by taking a full set of vitals, including measuring their oxygenation levels, each shift. We have been working with a company, TelePageMD, for some time now. This company has allowed us to do virtual physician visits after hours. Our partners at TelePageMD have made this equipment available to all of our medical providers so that they can “visit” their patient using this state of the art equipment.
Although we cannot make daily calls to all family members, rest assured that if your family member develops any symptoms, you will be notified by telephone by one of our nurses.
Our fight against COVID-19 remains at full force. Our commitment to the health and well-being of our patients and staff is unwavering. Our staff has been working vigilantly around-the-clock to monitor our patients. At present, we have an adequate supply of personal protective equip- ment (PPE), and continue to purchase as needed.
