We are hiring RNs or LPNs, full time and part time, weekend required, for our fast-paced, newly renovated, five star skilled nursing facility.
Responsibilities Include:
- Communicate effectively with residents, family members, coworkers and physicians
- Supervise nurse’s aides to assure proper care is delivered
- Prepare and administer medications and chart accordingly
- Complete resident assessments and all documentation as scheduled
- Conduct rounds to ensure delivery of quality care – check resident positioning, toileting, attire, cleanliness and general wellbeing
- Manager feeding tubes, colostomies, catheters, IVs and oxygen as well ad durable medical equipment necessary in the subacute environment
- Promote the facilities CHOICE program, mission and goals
Requirements
- Currently registered with the Illinois Department of Professional Regulation
- Comprehensive knowledge of Nursing Principles and Practices
- Understands the aging process and has a desire to work with the elderly
- Computer literacy necessary, as the facility utilizes an electronic medical record
